Morsels of - fresh from the vat - Wisconsin cheddar cheese curds in your choice of flavors are often shipped on the day they're made for primo fresh dairy flavor and texture. These cheese curds are so fresh they squeak! Great for graduation parties, special times and of course your personal stock. As many French Canadians know, the white cheddar poutine cheese curds are a key ingredient to good poutine. Folks round Wisconsin crave curds like lobster. Enjoy 5 pounds and a choice of flavors. Don't worry that 5 lbs is too much, as we include a card noting how to save much of the quality of your curds by freezing small quantities. (The photo shows about 1/2 lb. each of white, yellow and garlic dill dressed up on a silver tray and enlarges when clicked.) Flavors include Yellow, Poutine White, Garlic Dill, Cajun and Peppers. Because of their delicate nature, we ship curds fresh on the day they're made for no more than 1 day of travel. During warm weather and for longer distances, the cheese curds are shipped fresh frozen to maintain quality. Ground shipping is only available for shipments that are within 3 days travel of Madison, WI. (Check the UPS ship map in the left side column to determine your ground delivery days.) You can request a desired delivery date during the ordering process. Curds are shipped to avoid delays over Saturday and Sunday. Thursdays and Fridays are fine delivery days for all shipping methods. Wednesdays can be selected for all 2nd Day Air shipments and for Ground shipments to many zip codes beginning with 4, 5, or 6. Tuesdays can be selected for Overnight Air and for Wisconsin zips.
